AT&T Building

1:3000 scale miniature paper model, about 3 inches tall

When this skyscraper was completed in 1984, critics were shocked by its cartoonish post-modern roof line: a classical pediment pierced by a large circular hole. Architect Philip Johnson succeeded in creating an edifice that is stately but whimsical and most of all highly visible.
